Amtec, in response to GDPR, would like to explain how we use your personal data and the information we collect from you as a result of any form of media or medium you use to interact with us.  We prioritise security of your information and endeavour to maintain the security of our internal systems.

Your name, email address, work address, office and mobile telephone numbers, your position within your organization, up to six years of documented history of our interactions with you, including emails, quotes, and notes of telephone conversations.

Information is not shared, sold, rented and would never be shared, unless we were required to do so by law, or in the course of delivering services that you have contracted us to provide.  These may include engineers, couriers, hardware vendors and accountants, in which case we provide the minimum data required to complete the task.  We retain the data as long as is reasonable based on the volume of interactions that we share with you and all data can be removed from our database within 72 hours of request.  If you are a current or former employee we are also likely to retain paper records of any applications, training, or other paper communications and we will retain this information for six years from your leaving date.

GDPR provides you with certain rights in relation to the storage, retention and processing of your personal data, these rights are:

  • The right to erasure
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object

Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.
